Daniel Robert Shoemaker, 69, of Mebane passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at Alamance Regional Medical Center. Daniel was a born in Washington, DC. He was retired from Waterloo Industries as Purchasing Manager. He was also a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Waukee, Iowa.

Daniel is survived by his wife, Kathleen A. Shoemaker, sons, Marc Shoemaker of Urbandale, Iowa and Todd Shoemaker of Los Angeles, CA. Grandchildren, Chandler Maddy-Shoemaker, Reegan Maddy-Shoemaker and Dana Shoemaker. Brother, John Shoemaker (Eunice) of Cary, NC. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard Robert and Georgia Marie Hofstetter Shoemaker.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, February 18, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Mebane. Officiating will be Reverend Robert Bowlin. The family will receive friends at the residence following the memorial service.
